Under the slogan “Mut heißt Machen!”, (Courage means taking action!) the goal was to showcase the key players on large construction sites in a 15 minute film. Commissioned by the Heinrich Schmid Group, we demonstrated what “Machen” and “Mut” truly mean on construction sites and gathered authentic on-camera interviews from three perspectives: site management, executive management and the client.

The goal in crafting the stakeholder statements was to present two construction projects in the film without a voice-over narrator. The first part of the task was to plan the interview topics editorially, define the interview settings and elicit authentic and concise on-camera quotes from the participants. A single shot captured via a micro-drone flying through the active construction site served as the opener, placing viewers directly into the action from the very beginning.

We ensured a varied mix of close-ups, striking wide shots and appropriate B-roll using a wide range of camera techniques – from full-frame to classic drone shots. The film was produced in two versions: first for the group’s executives and branch offices and then in an abridged version for the general public.
